Its politics as usual, the alliances and the coalitions are all over and it is clear the games have just begun. There are many politicians that have been entangled in this mess because it is definitely something that is too good to be true. When the deal is too good think twice, a proverb best wraps it up.

The TNA, URP connection, this was like the first marriage so to say of Mr. Ruto and Uhuru and then come the strike off of all times that hit headlines in a big way and took the spotlight away , Kalonzo, Wentangula- Raila merge in Politics together.

What can be termed as political marriage is turning out to be quite some show as Peter Kenneth and Tuju also merge their efforts to stir up in the most anticipated elections of all time. Clearly this is the ultimate game changer of who is who in the game of politics.

Politics is not new the only thing that is advancing is the game and the tact but the mission is one “Power”. They are too many politicians who believe with conviction that they can fool people and woe people to get through to their plans.

That is however not the case. The IEBC has raised concerns over the numbers of voters that have turned up to vote. As of 4th December it was as at 5.9 million people who had registered and this is set to be the mid-month of the registration. A thirty day time span was set aside for people to register and so far the response is not as expected.

Reason being? It is simple the politicians are just doing cat chase but in real sense people know what they want and they have realized that this elections cannot work. Are the coalitions that are making headlines all over the new way of merging the Kenyans or just a way of merging power?

Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno a German sociologist, philosopher once said the hardest thing about any political campaign is how to win without proving that you are unworthy of winning. Clearly that is what we are seeing happening and this is a worrying thing. Is anyone vying for the big seat for the interest of the country or for their own selfish ambitions? Why is it a big matter to get the seat and serve the people?

We cannot be able to talk more about the alliances as it is just the begging, there are more to come. The people need more and have matured out of the nitty gritty kind of politics. People want more than the normal circus that the politicians put on. The truth is that people want more than the TALK and the WALK has to come through big time.

People have their own views and opinion

Kenyans are confused! And unfortunately the confusion is from the very leaders, who they look forwards to get into the state House. Just as divorce confuse the kids; This ‘political marriages’ might be making it hard for Kenyans to choose.

Sincerely, I do not believe in political movements. I believe in personal movement, that movement of the soul when a man who looks at himself is so ashamed that he tries to make some sort of change-within himself, not on the outside. That is a quote from Joseph Brodsky which is true revelation that people want to mask their powers in return for super powers.

The truth is that the alliances have to make out time and preach what is right for the people consumption otherwise they may be looking for a needle in haystack which can be a very hard thing to do.

It is true what Albert Einstein said , we have to divide up our time like that, between our politics and our equations. But to me our equations are far more important, for politics are only a matter of present concern. A mathematical equation stands forever. What is the equation to the alliances? That is probably something that we should try and figure out ourselves as the people with the votes.

" width="268" height="188" title="Can You Smell The 2007 2008 Atmosphere Somewhere? " />

Ensure your nose is sober. In 2007 we had the three giants working towards their entering into state movement in 2008. They moved all over the country looking for votes and some showing people with money. They campaigned and people praised them not knowing they will turn up to be destroyers.

After election and before Mr. Kivuitu made the announcement the smell of war could be heard. People had prepared their machetes and planned who to kill. This reminds me of 2000 campaigns when thieves invaded several homes in my home place asking them who they will vote for. After refusing to tell them they were thoroughly beaten like donkeys which have refuse to take sukuma wiki to the market.

So it had started earlier than 2007, there were people who could not stand seeing their oppose winning the game again. What was their problem? What resulted to 2007 violence? We talk of tribes and who want who nothing else.

Remember the days of Noah which we read in historical books? They were told rain is coming but because they had not seen it in their lifetime they thought it was just a joke. The same thing happened in 2007, people were told not to vote for leaders who are not leading them to anywhere because all they wanted was to satisfy their hunger for the big seat. They thought it was yet another joke.

After all Kenya had not witnessed such a war after independence and it could not come into their minds. In fact some want to see whether it can happen.

Should We Do It Again?

It terrifies some but the largest group doesn’t care what happens because all they want is to fulfill what their elders or do we call them community men say.

Can we come out of this cocoon of tribes and settle our differences?

After 2007 there were very many peace movements and one Kenya which helped in reuniting tribes. Where are they at the moment? Why are they not talking? Tribes voices are on top now everyone supporting their man. They can’t be controlled.

Who Should We Vote For?

Let’s take a lot on the two giants in this election since Mr. Ruto bowed and gave Uhuru his chance and accepted to become a running mate.

Look at the Former President’s Son.

In 2007 he promised a lot of good things which he would have done between then and now. Go back to the promises and find out whether there is something he has done. At least he was given the throne of financial minister and did one of the most effective budgets that Kenyans had ever heard.

What about others? Why has he not kept the promises? I though Kenya was to be a paradise by this time. Not that by not being a president he had no chances of fulfilling most of his promises. He was and he has been in this government. He knows very well what is lacing in Kenya and what we need. The open door for him has been there but he has not acted. Or may be his plans were ruined by Ocampo’s envelop.

Raila Is Yet another Aspirant

Just like Uhuru, his father has been in Kenyan government and he also knows more things about this nation more than we do. He has been a minister not once or twice. He as well made promise to Kenyans in the year 2007. Has he fulfilled at least half of them even after being the prime minister? This man has had all the power he needed. He could have made Kenya the place he had told us.
Mr. Odinga and Mr. Uhuru, we don’t at one point doubt you capability in making this nation a 1st world. no, in fact we have been supporting you. Because we trust you people and we know you can make it.

I quote Rutos words,”We know that we have the leadership that can bring all Kenyans together and help them overcome their challenges. For this reason, we have come to Nakuru today to announce a coalition of ideas between men and women who subscribe to uniting this country,”

The problem is, you have not been playing your roles well. You have had big chances. It doesn’t require a leader to seat in presidents throne to act but it takes a leader to act despite the position.
All we hear from you is battling words.

Let’s take a look to one of the things you could have completed in the last five years which you have been in parliament.

There a large number of people who are still on the tents. Do you know why they are there? Some is because of Raila while others Uhuru.

They wanted all the best for you people. They wanted to see you seated in parliament as the president. And you know what happened? Many lost their lives because of that, some were maimed, raped, left in poverty, left homeless, the number off needy and orphans in the nation raise.

The time for election is drawing near and people seem to have forgotten what happened in 2007-2008. Who will remind them?

Can You Hear The Sound Of Blood On Kenyan Soil Asking For Justice?

Have you people done anything to settle their cases? Have you cared of settling them in another environment and in good homes? Some of them are still in tents and you are waiting form their votes? With all the pain in their hearts. Remember everyone who sees them is as well affected.

Can you take a step and cover up for them. Just buying a land to settle them or getting one from your acres will do Kenyans happy. Give them a new morning. Give them strength to vote again. A chance to feel that they also belong.

David Kuria Mbote is the name of a gay man who is vying for a senate seat in Kiambu. He is a man known of his good work of helping in poverty eradication in the area. So what do the people say about him?

First this is a kind of a lifestyle that is referred to us as a taboo in our African culture. Many countries are actually doing anti homosexuality campaigns to either show that they don’t agree with it.

A research that was done by the human rights commission of kenya showed that only 18% of the gay and lesbian community have openly told their families about their status. Most of them are not accepted in these families and so they stay with their colleges in this new lifestyle.

So what will happen if Mbote gets the votes?

This will make him the first gay man in African to have won into the parliament.
But remember the law of the land says this;
 Section 165. Indecent practices between males.
Any male person who, whether in public or private, commits any act of gross indecency with another male person, or procures another male person to commit any act of gross indecency with him, or attempts to procure the commission of any such act by any male person with himself or with another male person, whether in public or private, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for five years.

Will the government accept him?
It does not approve such an act!

When this man came out and said that he is on the race to winning the senate seat this is what Kiambu residents said,’ We don’t want a generation of gay people in our town,” said 52-year old Anne Ngugi’
“His policies are okay but he has moral decay.”
Maybe it is her age what made her say so. What about the young generation?
“All I care about is that he becomes a good leader,” 22-year old”

Mbote lives in a Christian community where Christ’s business is always on top. Checking on the church views during the homosexuality debate on 11th may 2012, the general secretary of the national council of churches in Kenya was backed by all the Christians when he said this,” We are concerned that the direction the debate has taken is that of the recognition of homosexuality and prostitution which are against African beliefs and more so our Christian principles. This is a matter that deserves reflective discussion by our society in recognition of our values and beliefs. This is a view shared by our Muslim brothers and sisters. We do not however imply that those who practice them should be locked up, we believe they need assistance to change from these.”

Gays ism is a taboo in african culture which many countries don’t allow. Kenyan law doesn’t allow any homosexuality practise

View the story “Gay man found in politics” on Storify

With all these views from the Kenyans and especially Kiambu residences, will he be accepted? Does gayism matter in the political arena; does it matter in serving the community?

Going with the religious laws, this is a type of lifestyle can is not allowed. Even if we go back to our culture and upbringing, this is a foreign thing. It has not been heard during our forefathers’ days. Why accept it in this generation. The government should take action of this case since many people believe it is a psychological disorder. I believe it can be treated.

I wonder why doctors and researcher are concentration on getting the cure for some diseases more than this big and ignored one call ‘homosexuality.’

This is something that can eradicate the generations to come in the world. This is because there will be no bearing of children. This agenda should be paralyzed completely!

The creator had a good reason why he enjoined both man and a woman and showed them the way to continue with the creation. Lets keep the trend and respect the opposite sex marriage.

Long ago during my grandfather’s time, there used to be a Muthamaki, Ruothi and chiefs in colonial Kenya.

The Kenyan populace was led by leaders who were supposed to earn their respect and leadership due to the work of their hands. Who can forget Okwonkwo being an accomplished leader in his society, yet his father Unoka, was the shame of the village. You will if you haven’t read Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

In the village of Umuofia, Mr. Brown came to town and carried on dandily with the African. Then came Reverend Smith who was authoritarian and then led to the District Commisioner. You know, that white guy who always thinks that he knows what is best for Africans?

In Umuofia, the District Commisioner changed the leadership structure of the society. As it was happening in Umuofia, it was also happening in Kenya.

The African system strange as it may sound, was a caste system.

The Kikuyu Caste System Comes Back in Kenyan Politics in 2013

For example, the Kikuyu were governed under the Mutongoria,Njamba and Gitonga. For those who don’t understand Kikuyu Mutongoria means the leader, Njamba means brave warrior and Gitonga means a rich person (so some a miser).

The system worked well under these leaders and the governed were the “Ahoi” a derisive word for ones who borrow and “Athami” or those without a home.

The Athami and Ahoi would forever work for the Atongorias and remain paupers. The only way out of this would have been to marry into the Gitonga or Mutongoria castes.

From these words you could see how the Kikuyu government structure has now evolved from the 19th to the 21st Century.

You can read more on Kikuyu culture from these sources: bluegecko and hubpages

Mr. Brown from Umuofia landed in Kenya and quickly created a method for the Ahoi to move to the Gitonga class. The secret was education. When young people like Kenyatta and Harry Thuku were picked to go to class and then sent out to the world, an opportunity was created for the lower castes to jump up the ranks to the Athamaki’s (anointed ones).

The Ahoi Kenyans in 2013

But alas, one would have thought that with the coming of education, the Ahoi would see the light.

It did not happen.

In 2013, the new breed of Ahoi, is always screaming, “tunataka serekali itusaidie”. We want the government to help us.

Whether is it Kenyans shouting “haki yetu” in the streets of Nairobi or councillors throwing chairs at each other in political events, it seems the Ahoi have now morphed into very educated beggers and paupers.

Trouble started when the supporters of TNA aspirants for various elective positions failed to agree on a method of electing nominated grassroots leaders for the party’s county committee.

Juja MP William Kabogo and Former Limuru MP George Nyanja engaged in a heated confrontation while their supporters fought each other.

Mr Nyanja left the venue soon after with a torn shirt, exclaiming “my life is in danger.”

Chairs flew across the hall and a number of people sustained minor injuries as they tried to scramble to safety.

Bodyguards of the various MPs pulled out their guns and whisked their bosses to safety.

An aspirant for the Kiambu governor seat, Dr James Nyoro, who is a former Rockefeller Foundation managing director, exchanged blows with Mr Kabogo as police officers tried to stop the mayhem. source: Nation Newspapers

Lest you get confused, Dr. Nyoro is one of the most respected men in Kenya. But somehow, he is still attracted to the idea that a Muthamaki in TNA will send him to heaven.

Kenyans and Begging for Crumbs

The Kenyan will stop at nothing to show their love and support for their Athamaki’s. In 2007, the rallying call was “No Raila, No Peace.”. Young men would go to the streets without food or water and start crying for their Muthamaki.

To them, their lives were nothing, nothing, nothing without their perceived anointed one.

In 2012 the number of anointed ones has increased exponentially.

“The alliance between Kalonzo and Mudavadi is not about countering or blocking Raila or Uhuru but one that is engaging on ways of forming the best government for Kenyans. We also recognise that Kalonzo is a sitting Vice-President,” Mr Affey said. Source: TheNation.

Every leader is now laying claim to certain regions of the country as their sole property. There are no political parties with ideologies. Let us be honest with ourselves shall we Kenyans. These “political parties” have nothing to say about their economic principles, the social principles or their governing principles. They have been formed with the sole purpose of getting a few Athamaki’s together to hoodwink the Athami, Atheni and Ahoi. The rallying call is the following

“We are joining hands, with like minded parties”.

Read:

We are currently organizing all my clan members to come under my fake political party. After than we shall create tribal cabals which will be solely based on the number of clan members in the other fake political party’s members.

The Kenyan Middle Class which now exhibits every symptom of being an Ahoi is busy arguing amongst itself about the best Muthamaki to lead them.

Let us be clear.

Okonkwo was a great man.

Okonkwo was well known throughout the nine villages and even beyond. a wealthy farmer” with “two barns full of yams” and three wives and had taken two titles.

Okwonkwo did not take money from Triton. He did not take money from Githurai and send Ahoi to Rift Valley. He did not not go to court. He was a great man indeed.

Age was respected among his people, but achievement was revered. As the elders said, if a child washed his hands he could eat with kings. Okonkwo had clearly washed his hands and so he ate with kings and elders.

TNA, ODM, PNU, Wiper, Narc do not have Okonkwo. They are a bunch of Unoka’s, led by Muthamaki’s and tolerated by the Kenyan middle class, the Ahoi of 2013.

You should get your copy of Things Fall Apart or read more about it here.

This is one of the Kenyan couple that people will never understand. since their marriage almost everything that we have been hearing is negative things from them. the question is…what’s their issue?

<img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1057" src="http://msemakweli.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/arungaesther_finger1-320x161.jpg" alt="arungaesther finger1 320x161 This Is Ridiculous...Timberlake Predicting The Worst Kenyan Post Election!

Esther Timberlake has once again fed us another of what seems to be revelations from both her and her husband’s horrifying experiences in the hands of the Kenyan government. This time, she delivers to us Quincy Timberlake’s prediction of the ‘worst Kenyan post election violence. Check it out below.

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of Kenya’s sorrow (Luke 17:26), says Timberlake. God’s already angry with the 2 child per family decision.
The former Placenta Party national chairman and presidential candidate Mr Quincy Timberlake has been known for his weird spiritual prophecies that actually came to pass. Before that, public approached him with doubt and conviction that we would prove his prophecies wrong. Timberlake defected from the party to TNA with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta acknowledging his membership. He’s not publicly come out to clarify the reports as he’s still recuperating from renal injuries he suffered at the ends of Kenyan hit men.
Contrary to many pastors, or foretellers, who put up in threadbare structures, Timberlake had always maintained a well-kept prayer room in his flashy mansion. He’s been a victim of a continuous venomous attacks from the media, angry public, Luo community, MPs and the government. In fact according to top dailies, he has been reported to be the most hated Kenyan ever to exist in the nation’s history. He’s hated to the extent that everybody wants a piece of his flesh. Some State officials want him dead or alive.
Could this be the reason he’s been dubbed an occult personality in Kenya because of his prophecies? He said there were no rituals performed for anyone to enter the sanctuary, he always stuck to his Holy Scriptures with huge speakers and woofers attached to soundproofed walls.
He cautioned that Kenya will undergo turbulence because of arrogant and greedy leaders, who think they can make it on their own. He also warns the church to abstain from the bible’s “Babylon the Great” fornication status with the State or the “Dragon.” The Whore of Babylon or “Babylon the Great” is a Christian allegorical figure of evil mentioned in the Book of Revelation in the Bible as of Revelation 14:8. He warned that churches were now preparing for preaching politics based on ethnic lines and spread of hate. He warned the church from staining itself with State’s quest for it’s vote and denying worshippers their rights to vote their would-be leaders of their choice. He warned Kenyans for belittling God by binge drinking overnight and waking up in front benches of church worship areas. Insulting and causing harm to others personalities online while carrying bibles on Sundays as if they were so perfect. He warned that their days were numbered. Great average of Kenyans are mere churchgoers not genuine worshippers of God. They’d do anything at the weekend to appease others in worship places with latest fashions and sleeks. Seductions in worships has hit the top roofs. Kenyans “fast night” sessions are nothing but what our Lord Jesus Christ preached at Matthew 5: 27-30. Moreover God has woken to pour his bowl wrath on the map of Kenya. Incestuous offences are on the rise with abuse of communication gadgets. They’ve totally gone against the Bible’s saying at Leviticus 19:17 which says, “Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt.”
“These leaders will remain re-lettered and have no respect whatsoever for God and this is what will continue causing problems in this nation. Kenyans will also suffer for their spread of hate against one another on social blog sites. Unless media changes its bias fashion of reporting, the history will repeat itself like the days of Noah.”
Earlier in the year, Timberlake was accosted by hit men hired by some unscrupulous politicians to take his life away. He suffered renal injuries which almost succumbed him into a coma. He’s not appeared in public for the longest this year and his whereabouts were unknown until he uttered a few words from a foreign hospital’s renal unit. He told his wife Esther that the world was soon coming to an end with the Almighty only knowing the date and the hour. Pangs and distress were headed to Kenya’s way with the worst political hard times that Kenyans had never and could never see again. He warned that unless that politicians were going to arm themselves with militia groups armed with AK 47 guns ready to pounce on their neighboring ethnic brothers. “My beloved wife, God wanted me to prophesy what would happen to the people of Kenya come 2013,” Timberlake recalls.

we must admit that Esther Arunga is beautiful but somethings that she says just make her seem …….

This is not all…not to forget Quincy Timberlake Defecting From Placenta Party to TNA..click here for more story. Scandals is what they seem to be good at to me…this is opinion and i guess there are many who feel the same as i do.

Esther Arunga accusing Hellon of incest!…truthfully believing what they say is close to impossible…I mean will they ever do something that will make people earn their trust back? Will Kenyans trust what they say? No one will ever invest all his or her trust in a person who seem not to have a solid stand in what he or she says.

These are not the kind of people who should be predicting our future…This is what I call brain washing other people. What they should be doing right now is to finding a solid ground then we will talk of people taking their word seriously.

The son of Kogelo has done it again…the most interesting thing is that Romney accepted his defeat. He handled his defeat quite well and as we can see him shaking Obama’s hand congratulating him.

If Kenya could be like the American leaders, we would have never talked of tribal clashes, homeless people and man slaughter…is it that we are not civilized or what? I mean only uncivilized people would dare to slaughter their fellow citizens like what Kenyans did in 2007.

The truth be told

I am a Kenyan but when I remember how people fought and died, actually I become very ashamed. Just recently a friend of mine sent me a message on twitter asking me if the clashes were over…I was so embarrassed…i mean this is 2012 and a tourist still has the 2007 picture in her mind.

This again made me reflect on a question… why do white men call us savages? With what we portrayed back in the year 2007, being called savages is an understatement! Yea, that’s my opinion.

I guess we have a lot to learn from the western countries….No racism, no tribalism, no favors. Let’s play this game fair and square. Many say politics is a dirty game but what makes it dirty is how we play the game.

Barack Obama did it again!

http://storify.com/msemakweli2011/yet-another-new-dawn-obama-on-his-second-term

Congratulations Mr. President! As you said “yes we can”, you definitely did it once again. All the best on your second term ruling the USA.

A quote goes on and says” politicians and diapers have the same thing in common, they need to be changed regularly if the same reasons”. I never gave thought to the quote but I have to say it makes a lot of sense.

government

Politics is a game that few understand and the bold ones get dirty in it but still manage to look clean. Politics is all about good governance and leadership.

It is about being the servant and letting the masters (citizens) enjoy your good work. I mean do they not work for us? how comes we feel the pinch every time? But the roles are reversed and seems like nobody really cares and instead the master works for the slave.

Introducing Ms.kingwa kamencu, her name might not be as famous as her ‘Underwear free campaign’. Back up, what do people take us for, underwear free campaign?

For a woman of her pedigree having gone to places like Oxford to get education, such a slogan as symbolic and metaphoric as you would like to put it does not make sense! Okay now she is a joker! Reading the paper and seeing her interview made me realize that people love attention seeking a lot.

people have made jokes and it is clear that she will not be taken seriously.

Maybe I am wrong but, hey with such a political slogan I wonder what more you may want. If you can remember the powerful trio, that were out for the ‘placenta movement’ went from being famous to chaotic.

I believe in ambitions but never when they start like a joke. As they say if you cannot convince them, confuse them, we are all about to be confused!!
