Kenyan Girls Caught Pickpocketing in Hong Kong

It seems that some of our Kenyan girls have decided that Karumaindo and Koinange Street are not enough. They have decided to export their pickpocketing skills to Hong Kong and China
It is not enough that we are now being noted as mules in the drug trade, now our girls are prostitutes in Hong Kong. Very sad indeed.
Judith Karimi and Josephine Nkatha both from Kenya, were arrested in a police crackdown on pickpockets in the bar areas of Wan Chai and Lan Kwai Fong (Northern Shores of Hong Kong). Each pleaded guilty in Eastern court to one count of theft. According to the court the policeman arrived in the area an hour and a half earlier. He was then approached by Nkatha outside the bar at about 5am. She chatted with him until they were joined half an hour later by Judith who introduced herself as ‘Maria’ and said she was from Ethipoia
They sat on a step outside the bar where the policeman put his head in his hands pretending to be drunk, and Nkatha massaged his back while talking to Karimi in a presumably African language. The officer then felt fingers in his trouser pocket take hold of the wallet, containing HK$640, (US$83.00) and saw Karimi pass it to Nkatha. Karimi shouted across the street to two other African women. Nkatha was holding a number of bank notes trying to pass them to the women when the policeman declared his identity and arrested them.
In mitigation Judith 31 told the deputy magistrate Kennis Tai Chiu-ki that she was involved in the case only because Nkatha asked her to help, that the intention was to …’help Nkatha get medical fees for her son’. Lawyer Alan Lo said Nkatha was a single mother taking care of a 12 year-old son and a four year old daughter.
Now in case you thought you are safe with Kenyan girls while in Kenya, then think again. If you drink in a pub in nairobi, be very careful of the drink spikers. Here’s a story from one “drink spiker”
